DAY 1: Upon checking into Daisy’s Guest House you’ll enjoy a wine and cheese reception served on the patio featuring locally produced wines and cheeses. The atmosphere and the serenity of the wine country will no doubt leave you in a complete relaxed state of mind.
This evening you’ll experience local flair and regional flavor dining at Restaurant Hazel located in the quaint town of Occidental just minutes from Daisy’s Guest House.
DAY 2: - From West Sonoma County, you’ll take the scenic drive north through the rolling hills and forest area of the Russian River Valley. Traveling along the legendary Wine Road you’ll visit Thomas George Estates. Hidden in the hillside are their world renowned wine caves that feature their sophisticated wine library where you will be a guest for a private tasting in their wine cave lounge for a truly memorable experience. Thomas George Estates is run by a father and son team Thomas & Jeremy Baker where they have dedicated themselves to crafting balanced artisan world class Pinot noirs and chardonnay which flourish in the cool heart of the Russian River Valley.
Following your tasting at Thomas George Estates you'll take a scenic lane atop the mountains overlooking the valley and visit Gary Farrell Estate Vineyards & Winery. To say the views are magnificent is an understatement. Tasting wine on their patio or fireside in their tasting room will definitely be a highlight of your day.
Enjoy and afternoon lunch at Cork's Restaurant within the famed Russian River Vineyards. This chic restaurant offers an unparalleled wine country dining experience in an historic 1890s farmhouse.
Lynmar Estates invites you for an afternoon wine tasting at their Russian River winery. A boutique winery with the love of the vine showcases Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast wines. Gracious wine educators enhance your experience at this world acclaimed winery!

DAY 3: - After an early breakfast you’ll journey inland to Sonoma County’s Valley of the Moon, home to many fine wineries, restaurants and the historic town of Sonoma. Today while visiting wineries and honing your culinary and pastry skills with local chef’s you’ll treated to an array of culinary delights and the art of pairing fine wines with them.
Next visit Gloria Ferrer Champagne Caves --the spirit of Spain in Sonoma County. When one of Europe’s oldest wine families went looking for the best place to create a truly great American sparkling wine, they came to Carneros region of California’s Sonoma Valley. Today you’ll discover pairing of fine champagnes with small bite plates. A visit to Gloria Ferrer offers a sneak peak into their cave overlook, production and the history of creating fine champagnes.
Following your experience the Old World Italian-style, Viansa Sonoma & Marketplace invites you for a grand tasting. This winery complete with two-foot thick walls, stone fermentation tanks, an underground vaulted barrel aging cellar and beautiful “fresco-style” hand painted murals is a local favorite and it's in a class by itself. Exquisite wines await your palate. The Marketplace tasting room enjoy an extensive selection of Viansa Wines.
Lunch this afternoon will be at The Girl and the Fig where a gourmet experience is nothing short of delectable dining experience.
This afternoon you’ll visit B.R. Cohn Winery & Olive Oil Company featuring tasting and pairing fine wines and olive tastings from their famed olive groves. A must do is to purchase an array of olive oils for your future dishes.
This evening you’ll enjoy fine dining at a Bistro 29 a restaurant for an incredible culinary experience prepared by chefs who make your dining experience a culinary art form; also enjoy wines from Sonoma County’s finest wineries.
DAY 4: - After a leisurely breakfast, say farewell to a most enjoyable stay in the Sonoma County Wine Country tasting fine wines and enjoying highly acclaimed culinary delights. Following an early breakfast seminar you’ll head north travelling over the Golden Gate Bridge that connects San Francisco to Northern California Wine Country. With its tremendous 746-foot tall towers, sweeping main cables and signature International Orange and Art Deco styling. The Golden Gate Bridge is sensory experience on overload. On the north end of the bridge views of the bridge, Alcatraz and the skyline are abundant from Vista Point offers amazing views of the city and dramatic views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Time will be allowed to shop for trinkets and souvenirs and the visitor center gift shop.
DAY 5: - Following a fabulous breakfast buffet at your hotel you’ll experience City by the Bay like no other. Departing from Pier 33 you’ll travel on Alcatraz Cruises circling the bay you’ll stop at Alcatraz Island often referred to as the “The Rock” for an inescapable experience. As you step back in time to experience this legendary island and one of the most notorious federal penitentiaries in US history. The memorable tour includes a 45 minute audio presentation titled “Doing Time” an Alcatraz cell house tour featuring actual correction officers and prisoners who lived and worked on the island and historical facts on famous prisoners such as the ”Machine Gun Kelly”, “Bird Man Alcatraz”, and famed Al “Scarface” Capone, a mafia mobster who resided on the island and the famous escape reminiscent of the movie “Escape from Alcatraz” with Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood, the former federal penitentiary. Alcatraz was once home to infamous crooks such as Al “Scarface” Capone, “Machine Gun Kelly” and Robert “The Birdman” Stroud.
This evening will be spent on the waterfront at Pier 39 strolling among the shops for trinkets and collectibles. Dinner this evening will be at be Alioto's with surround views of the bays. Following your Alcatraz bay cruise tour and Pier 39 will be followed by a famed cable car ride that will drop you off right at Union Square and your hotel.
DAY 6: - No visit to the fabulous “City by the Bay” without experiencing the cultural and environmental diversity that makes the San Francisco the highlight of area when you visit the highlights of the bay for and uptown/downtown city tour via motorized cable car visiting Lombard Street –the crookedest street in the world with a steep grade paved with red bricks and lined with an array of flowers. Originally built to reduce the steep grade eight sharp turns widened down this awesome sight. You’ll marvel in the views from the steep streets. You’ll visit Coit Tower in the Telegraph Hill neighborhood that provides wonders of modern art with 210 foot tower built in 1933. You’ll visit the highly acclaimed world class dining area of North Beach. Views of the Embarcaderos that embrace the waterfront with towers that offers astounding views from the Grand Ferry Building that tower from the waterfront from the fairy buildings followed by Market and Vaness Blvd and magnificent views of the city and the Grand Ferry Building adjacent to the towering Embarcaderos.
This evening you’ll experience Chinatown by night with a traditional Chinese dining experience of epicurean treasures.
DAY 7: - No visit to the fabulous “City by the Bay” without visiting the seaside village of Sausalito. Departing by ferry your San Francisco Bay Cruise will find you passing Angel Island and waterfront marinas where as sailing vessels sit idle in the bay. Shop, dine and capture the magnificent views of the bay. Return by ferry late afternoon.
